Paso Robles teen busted with black tar heroin

Paso Robles police detectives arrested a 17-year-old male Friday who is accused of selling black tar heroin.
Police Special Enforcement Team detectives stopped a vehicle shortly before 5 p.m. for a mechanical violation. The detectives determined that the teen did not have a driver’s license and called for his vehicle to be towed.
When the suspect stepped out of the car, the detectives noticed a large object in the his pants pocket. The juvenile admitted that the object was heroin.
Police determined that the teen was carrying one ounce of black tar heroin, which has a street value of approximately $2,200. The detective also found $648 in cash that he was carrying.
The detectives arrested the juvenile for possession of narcotics for sale and for transportation of narcotics. They booked him in the Juvenile Services Center.
