Motorcyclist killed in crash near Santa Margarita

A man died Wednesday morning after he crashed his motorcycle near Santa Margarita.
The motorcyclist lost control of his bike around 10:30 a.m. on Huer Huer Road about three miles south of Highway 58. Upon crashing, the man was ejected from the bike and suffered head injuries.
He was not wearing a helmet. Responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
The man has yet to be identified, but CHP officials say he was 56-years-old.
The victim was riding a 1993 Harley Davidson. He was driving approximately 50 mph at the time of the crash.
Neither drugs, nor alcohol are suspected to have played a role in the crash.
