A bitter Ferrara lashes out at Hill

Mayor Tony Ferrara

By DANIEL BLACKBURN

Outgoing Arroyo Grande Mayor Tony Ferrara is not going quietly into the night — he leveled a nasty and personal attack at write-in victor Jim Hill in comments to the Santa Maria Times Tuesday.

“Mr. Hill did not have the courage to face me in a head-to-head race. Instead, he hid behind an unethical and vicious write-in campaign,” Ferrara told a reporter. He then departed for a Texas conference.

Ferrara is accused by many residents of engineering a cover-up of a July 3 City Hall incident involving City Manager Steve Adams and a subordinate employee, Teresa McClish to avoid competition for the seat he has occupied for 10 years. He was running unopposed until news of the Adams affair was first reported by CalCoastNews in August.

Ferrara did not mince words when it came to describing his electoral conqueror.

“It is consistent with his established pattern of behavior,” Ferrara said of Hill. “I have served the citizens of AG for 18 years. I am very proud of our staff and the collective accomplishments of our council. It saddens me to see this happening to our community.”

Adams’ future will be discussed for the fourth time tonight in closed session at the Arroyo Grande City Council meeting at 6 p.m.

Results of an “independent” investigation into the incident will be unveiled at the meeting, also.

Tony, you are pathetic. Lashing out at Jim is like shooting the messenger. THE VOTERS of Arroyo Grande FACED YOU on election day. Blame them, they sent the messenger with a very strong message…that you are through!

Happiness will be seeing you in our rear view mirror.

Actually, blaming the voters is also blaming the messenger. The voters just carried the message of extreme dissatisfaction with Ferrara’s performance as mayor.

FERRARA is the one who sent the message to voters that, as mayor, he has zero consideration for anything but his own personal gain.

Ferrara is responsible for losing the election. He has sent MORE than enough messages to voters for the voters to vote him out of office.

Semantics! I’m just glad he’s gone.

Are any of you really surprised at how the former mayor has decided to depart? Certainly his failed re-election campaign is everyone else’s fault, or at least he will forever think.

Think how badly this makes poor Kristin feel,

she put so much effort into getting his signs up.

And that free the AG council website, has that gone bust yet?

On behalf of the Childish Contingency posting here, an homage to ex-mayor “Cut-and-Run” Ferrara…..

“Roses are red, violets are blue

Ferrara lost the election

So nanny-nanny-poo-poo.”

QUOTING THE ARTICLE: ” ‘Mr. Hill did not have the courage to face me in a head-to-head race. Instead, he hid behind an unethical and vicious write-in campaign,’ Ferrara told a reporter. He then departed for a Texas conference.”

Cut-and-run Ferrara strikes again! LOL…no comment until today, the day of the closed-session meeting, after which he immediately heads for the hills. What a whining coward.

Notice how Ferrara pathetically attempts to turn a miracle (Jim Hill won by write-in ballot, in only five weeks) into a negative.

The reality is, if Ferrara had not conspired to cover up the Adams-McClish sad, late-night drunken tryst until after the deadline of registering to run for office, it is highly likely Jim Hill (the victor of the election) and others, would have filed to run.

Hey Tony, what’s the only thing better than…

SUNSHINE

LOLLIPOPS and

RAINBOWS?

Seeing Jim win and YOU lose.

Perhaps those few who voted for you will hold a pity party.

Uh oh,,,,somebody call the whaaambulance!

Ha! Made me laugh!

I keep seeing the same cartoon in my head

Imagine

In a half dug grave is Big Tony standing with a shovel in his hand digging his own grave. The head is large with that famous slicked back doo.

The dirt is flying and he is spewing blame to everyone for his loss.

Get a grip Tony. If on July 8th you had instructed the council to TERMINATE Adams for cause, none of this would have happened.

I do believe Steve Adams and Teresa McClish should be standing at the edge of the grave, overseeing the digging, perhaps with shovels in their own hands as well.

Let’s hope the council gets the picture tonight.

Well now, Boss Hog ain’t pleased, huh? It would seem that with our bright green onslaught of campaign signs and our mayor elect Jim Hill walking the streets as the most visible man in A.G. that we’d be accused of much more than “hiding behind” anything.

Sorry you felt intimidated former mayor Tony but…..good-bye!

It would seem that Mr. Ferrara has completely forgotten one important thing…

He was an ELECTED official.

Apparently he assumed that Mayor’s seat was his to keep forever? It was time for a change and that is even more apparent now. I voted for Mr. Ferrara in several elections and had respect for him and his work in our city. The operative there is “had” because after that chicken sh*t parting shot at Mayor elect Hill, that respect suddenly vaporized.

I too voted for Ferrara and was supportive of much of Tony’s early efforts.

To this day, I believe Tony has done many good things for AG.

But that does not mean I am blind to his back room dealings,

his intimidation of business owners, etc.

I do not know exactly when the tide turned,

perhaps is was a slow transition from overwhelmingly good to what we now see.

Clearly it is time for Tony to go, but did I ever dream he would be this spiteful?

Never.

A leopard doesn’t change his spots…Just the real Tony Ferrara (Egotist) emerged stronger when his ego was fed, so much so he forgot who his master that feeds him was !!

Steve Adams and Tim Carmel are NOT the people who fed Tony Ferrara, they are all three party of a Feeding Frenzy (co-conspirators) on the Citizens of Arroyo Grande backs and dimes. All three are nothing more than bottom feeders, also known as Scum Suckers !

Ferrara really did have that belief of entitlement, didn’t he?

So entitled that I am now taking bets that his ‘ole buddy Katcho will appoint him to something in Sacramento.

Sure hope the guys at Log Cabin meant it when they said they were taking

donations for the U Haul to move Tony, Steve and Carmel out of City Hall.
