Paso Robles teen arrested for rape

Paso Robles police arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
Shortly after 3: p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a report of a rape victim at Twin Cities Community Hospital. The alleged rape had occurred earlier in an open field on the 1100 block of Ramada Drive.
On Thursday, police arrested Aaron Jacob Duran, 18, and booked him into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of rape, forcible oral copulation and penetration with a foreign object.
Duran remains in jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. Because of the nature of the incident and the age of the victim, police are not releasing any further information.
