Person killed in suspicious Grover Beach house fire

A person died in a Grover Beach house fire that investigators have deemed suspicious. Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating the death.
Around 6:20 a.m. Monday, the Grover Beach dispatch center received a report of a fire at a home in the 100 block of N. 13th Street. Grover Beach police officers and Five Cities firefighters arrived at the scene and located a small fire that was contained to one apartment
Responders found one person dead inside the home. Authorities have not released a suspected cause of the fire nor any details about the death.
Grover Beach police are investigating the death. The Five Cities Fire Authority, Pismo Beach Police Department, Arroyo Grande Police Department, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office and San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
