OPINION by RON ARNOLDSEN

So let’s see. Dawn Ortiz-Legg wants to be a lawmaker. However, she can’t grasp the 6th amendment? Part of which states that when arrested you have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.

You would think someone who had been involved in the process of being arrested could catch on to this concept.

I bet you that she was read the Miranda warning when she was arrested. Jordan Cunningham is up holding the Sixth Amendment when he represents “dangerous criminals.”

I am sure Dawn Ortiz-Legg did not consider herself a “dangerous criminal” when she was arrested. Do you think Ortiz-Legg considers her attorney a person who works to put “dangerous criminals back on the street.”

There is another part of our constitution that Ortiz-Legg is forgetting,  Article 23 of the Constitution: a person is innocent until proven guilty. Is it possible those “dangerous criminals” that Cunningham represents could be innocent?

It appears that Ortiz-Legg wants to take us back in time when the King could throw you in the dungeon where you would rot without the representation of council. Real progressive Ortiz-Legg!

Ron Arnoldsen is a former Grover Beach mayor who is currently running against incumbent John Shoals for the mayor seat.

Ron Arnoldson is about to have his ass handed to him by John Shoals in the Grover Beach mayoral race–he’s the last guy who should be talking about any other candidate.

By the way, Ron, it’s against state law to have a dog in your lap with operating a vehicle. You may need Jordan Cunningham to defend you.

The photo looks as though the truck is in a driveway in front of a residence.

Lighten up.

Like they say, its time to drain the swamp and Shoals has made a fine cork. Its high time to move away from career worthlessness.

Dawn Ortiz-Legg’s snail mail and tv ads are nothing but baseless fear-mongering propaganda.

I am not voting for Jordan Cunningham due to his disloyal actions towards Donald Trump.

I hope Jordan Cunningham loses badly on November 8 and goes back to making plea deals for drunk college students as a defense attorney or “protecting the public” from drunk college students as a prosector.

I never want to hear from Benedict Arnold Cunningham again.

Kaiser Bill…

If you are TRULY supporting Donald Trump then you support:

*the Second Amendment/Cunningham is endorsed by the NRA

*the reduction of taxes and regulations and tax reform/Cunningham was the former President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association and is endorsed by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association for his defense of Prop 13

*the public safety of citizens and support for local law enforcement/Cunningham is endorsed by numerous law enforcement organizations

If I recall, Ortiz-Legg stated she would have a seat at the table in Sacramento if elected. Translation: The Sacramento Democrat powers-that-be will tell her how to vote, especially if there is a super majority of Democrats. They didn’t invest in this Assembly seat for nothing. Those outside dollars came here for a reason. The Sacramento powers-that-be will need her vote to assault Prop 13 and raise more taxes. If that happens, tighten your seat belt…it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

Don’t be fooled by disinformation! Vote for Cunningham for Assembly!

This is your brain (Cunningham)…this is your brain on drugs (Trump)…any questions?

Kaiser Bill, I think you are mistaking Jordan Cunningham for Justin Fareed. He is the one who came out against supporting Trump.

Excellent points all around, Ron. Dawn Ortiz-Legg is dawn-right scary.

Oh, say can you see,

By Dawn’s former crimes,

What so proudly she hailed,

At the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose DUI and weed bust,

And now her perilous fight,

O’er the debate we did watch,

While Jordan was gallantly streaming.

A few fumbles a few glares

The bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night,

That Dawn wasn’t even there.
