Someone started the fire near the train station in SLO, officials say

Officials suspect someone started a fire close to the San Luis Obispo Amtrak station, which caused a brief train delay Thursday afternoon.

Callers reported the fire shortly after 2 p.m., burning at 1011 Railroad Avenue, which is the address of the train station. The blaze was burning in vegetation located in close proximity to train tracks, according to the San Luis Obispo Fire Department.

Rapid reporting and extinguishing of the blaze stopped it from spreading, fire officials said in a tweet. The fire burned one quarter of an acre.

The blaze appears to have been started by a human, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation. No one suffered injuries as a result of the fire, and it did not damage any property.

“Suprize, suprize”, I think Gomer could have figured this one out. Every meth-addicted homeless person from the entire country, yeah, you read that right, not county, country, is entitled to a $500,000 house, refusal of treatment, and freedom to terrorize others per Supervisors Gibson and Hill (sorry, that would now be Dawn-Legg, as if there is any difference, hint, there’s not). I’m sure as hell not going to be homeless in Salt Lake City, too cold. I’ll take coastal California. Aside from agreeing to these demands, I’ll be completely justified in starting fires as I wish and it will be your fault for failure to provide me exactly what I want on my terms.
