Protest planned over transgender students in girls sports, bathrooms

A group of parents of elementary through high school school students across San Luis Obispo County plan to keep their children home for one day later this month to protest transgender athletes competing in girls’ sports and using female bathrooms.

The countywide protest, set for April 28, is being organized by California Parents for Change, a group started by parents. The group wants local schools to ban biological males from girl’s bathrooms and sports and to prohibit menstrual product machines in boy’s bathrooms.

“We call on all schools in San Luis Obispo County to protect the civil rights of our children by aligning their policies with Title IX and President Trump’s executive orders, maintaining sex-segregated sports teams, locker rooms, and restrooms exclusively for biological males and females, respectively,” according to the California Parent’s for Change website. “This violation by our schools threatens the dignity, safety, and opportunities of both our sons and daughters—denying fair competition in sports as well as privacy for both boys and girls.”

The group is giving school districts in SLO County until April 27 to “show compliance.” If their demands are not met, parents in the group plan to keep their children home on April 28 and then one day each month until local school districts “adhere to Federal Law, respecting Title IX and executive orders that safeguard the rights of all our children, sons and daughters alike.”

The protest is designed to cause financial damage at a time many school districts are working through tough financial times. Funding for school districts is based on daily attendance.

Let’s get real folks and honest with each other, please. Boys using the girls restrooms and visa versa at elementary schools and high schools is VERY rare. This protest is political scaremongering and nothing more.

A unisex washroom, has a lock to keep others out while you do you business. IE, one customer at a time.


So-called “gender neutral” washrooms, have no locks, allowing men to urinate next to your 6 year old daughter. That’s the problem.

Yeah, I leave my kids unattended in public bathrooms too. Especially my daughter in Unisex Bathrooms so she can learn early.

I took my 6 year old daughter in to pee with me in a stall, in the men’s room. Why would you send a child that young into a public bathroom on their own? Don’t you know perverts lurk there?


Rules of the toilet keep your eyes down. No wide stances or toe tapping. We will get to glory holes later.


BTW most pedophiles are not Trans. They are heterosexual men and women primarily.

Citizens have the right to accommodations no matter their “stripe”, like a bathroom, but not necessarily access to sports. Can you see the difference?


Schools can make bathrooms Unisex and solve the toilet issue fairly easily. They probably prefer to fight over it. I am sure the ladies would like access to more stalls, as they always have a line.


Can we all agree on our rights to drop the kids off at the pool, whenever and wherever needed?

A physical disability is not a choice. The ADA is designed to help those who have difficulty, or cannot help themselves.


Unlike a person making believe they are something they cannot be, and has disavowed biological and moral truths.

When I was in College; College Here; taking courses in socio and Psy; with billions of peer reviewed data; people are nuerologically different if they are gay or Trans, and are born that way. It’s not a choice, nor their fault. You can debate Science/pet/mri/ science all day. Some people think the earth is flat; and that Trump wasn’t friends with Epstein.


Knowing your water table is contaminated by carcinogenic chemicals, and schools don’t filter tap; aren’t you a bit more worried about that than bathrooms? And minding your own business? And I’d be dawned if i let my child into a a bathroom unattended young; and have common sense to alert women my daughter needs her dad to potty or to make sure she’s alone. Common sense. People can use their religious Bias however they want and argue against reality. It makes people money to keep people stupid and in cults. Catholics and Witnesses have the highest pedophilia accounts in the USA, I believe Christians are third. So, don’t let your Pastor piss with your kid.

Parents who have children who are gender confused need to get support for their children it is not the responsibility of the school to do this as it infringes on the very sensitive rights of others. I support the parents.
