Unlicensed illegal immigrant charged in crash killing Paso Robles man

The 25-year-old driver who crashed into and killed a Paso Robles man last week is an illegal immigrant who previously lost his license, authorities said.

On the morning of Dec. 4, a 63-year-old Paso Robles man was driving a Lexus westbound on Highway 46 East when he stopped for a red light at Golden Hill Road. Gean Marco HuamanCastro, who was born in Mexico, was headed in the same direction in a Freightliner box truck when he failed to slow down and crashed into the back of the Lexus.

The 63-year-old man died at the scene.

Officers arrested HuamanCastro for vehicular manslaughter and booked him in San Luis Obispo County Jail. He was released from jail before an immigration detainer was filed.

Prior to the crash, HuamanCastro’s driver’s license was suspended.

Ay de mi…Is that blank fingerprint block area still on citations? Why aren’t all ticket receivers required to provide fingerprint on physical ticket? Probably a variation in name / address prevented cross referencing in legal databases but a fingerprint sure would have made things clear. Fingerprint all issued citations.

AB 60 strikes again! From Jerry Brown to Gavin Newsom, putting idiots in charge has wrecked California and destroyed lives.

Letting him go is known as “aiding and abetting” Federal law enforcement activity.

He must have carried a “Get out of jail FREE” Monopoly card in his wallet.

20 years ago I was rear ended during a rainstorm on the 101 in South Paso. Traffic had come to a stop due to an accident up ahead. I had come to a complete stop as had all the cars in front of me. The driver behind me was going too fast for the road conditions and slammed into the back of my car. He then left his car there on the freeway and ran east toward Ramada Drive never to be seen again. The car was registered to a Mexican national living in agriculture housing on Estrella Rd. The owner told LE his cousin had taken his car without his permission and and fled back to Mexico. My car was totaled and I injured my wrist and required surgery. My uninsured motorist insurance covered my losses. There is no point to my story except this is nothing new and those of us who follow the rules, obey the laws and are citizens just trying to live our life often get screwed.

This is an outrage, no u.s citizen has ever done this.

Imagine thinking this is a clever response

Why would anyone excuse any of this outrage? It is bad enough when a U.S. citizen engages in manslaughter & murder. Why excuse or even embrace governmental negligence by disregarding even more carnage by non-citizens? Why would anyone be an enabler and apologist for any sort of criminal, foreign or domestic, where innocent citizens are being unnecessarily victimized? The solution isn’t rocket science. Innocents don’t deserve to be maimed or killed at the hands of International Criminal Trespassers.
