Anti-ICE protest in San Luis Obispo following second fatal shooting

More than 300 protestors gathered outside the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday morning to protest a second fatal shooting by an immigration officer.

On Saturday morning, a federal immigration officer shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti during a scuffle in Minneapolis. While some say officers were attempting to disarm Pretti, who brought a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun to the protest, others argue the officer murdered an unarmed, restrained man.

At 10 a.m. on Sunday, protesters gathered off Highway 1 at Kansas Avenue in rural San Luis Obispo. They held signs asking people to resist and seeking the abolishment of ICE.

One protester wore a full body frog costume and another wore a set of wings.

Protesters chanted “ICE out of SLO,” while some drivers honked their horns in support.

Dear protestors if you want to be angry about ICE doing their job under the laws that Congress has passed, be angry at Biden, Harris and the DNC for intentionally allowing tens of millions of foreigners to enter our country illegally just to bolster their voter margins

I’ve never heard so many democrats rant & rave so much about 2nd amendment rights now that it supports their narrative.

So, let me get this straight with my MAGA friends: it was perfectly fine for armed individuals (yes, they were armed, read the link) to show up at the Capitol on Jan. 6 brandishing those weapons—flag poles, mace, clubs, etc.—and beat up cops, that’s perfectly fine and they should be pardoned and considered heroes, but if a protester shows up with a licensed, concealed weapon that he was not brandishing, contrary to DHS statements, simply comes to the assistance of a woman who has been pushed to the ground, he deserves to be shot multiple times? Really? That’s your position and you don’t find even a bit of hypocrisy in that?


I pray every day for this nation because surely God has forsaken us.

And who got shot? Cops, FBI, CIA, DHS, TSA, Uber drivers? No.


An unarmed woman did, while stuck in a door, posing less than zero threat to the officer that had previous abuse of authority charges against him.


Now explain why over 300 Biden FBI plainclothes officers were in the crowd, many inciting violence?

28,000 protesters would have been a good turn out (1% of county population), or a half of 1% 14,000 peoplein attendance. But there was a whopping 300 plus, WOW.

Population of SLO county in 2024: 281,000 give or take


Protesters partaking in this protest: “more than 300” per this story.


That is a hair more than 1/10 of 1%, (.0013% to be exact), of our local population out there taking part in this protest. They were almost able to get 1% of the city of San Luis Obispo’s population out there but fell short of that number, LMFAO!!!


These radical lefty loons DON’T represent the majority of SLO county and our stance on this situation.


The majority of Americans support the immigration crack down and libs have a right to protest the operation but a word of advice, “protest peacefully and don’t impede so you family doesn’t have to put together a eulogy for you”
