Body found hours after crash

A 2007 graduate of Nipomo High School, who was attending Allan Hancock College, was found dead early Thursday on the side of Stanton Road near Lyn Road in Arroyo Grande. [SantaMariaTimes]
Alicia Renee Carreras, 20, veered of the road and struck a tree around 3 a.m., but her wrecked 2005 Nissan Maxima was not discovered by a passing motorist until 5:20 a.m.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected. Even so, toxicology reports have been ordered and the results are expected to take at least two weeks.
