Templeton man charged with child porn

San Luis Obispo Sheriff deputies arrested a Templeton resident Friday on five charges including lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, incest, possessing material depicting a minor under the age of 14 engaging in or simulating a sexual act, lewd or lascivious acts against children and an outstanding warrant. [Tribune]

Donald Baker, 39, was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail where he remains with bail set at $200,000.

Baker is currently on administrative leave from his position as the critical care director for Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.

This is disturbing on multiple levels. Gives me the willies just thinking about it. If he is found guilty, I certainly hope they use him as an example and give him NO mercy. However, the bail does sound low for his charges, no?


Painfull story because Twin Cities is such a good hospital and will continue to be a good hospital.


There is always a rotten apple in every basket and if he is proven guilty I would say throw him to the wolves.


Nice touch for CalCoast News to link story to Tribune which is something they never have the class to do … and speaking of the Trib, why haven’t they covered the Parkinson paid for hire testimony story?


Because they are creeps. I sent them all the info almost a week ago-nothing. They are just a filthy fish wrapper.

Streets are still dangerously in need of repair. The City Council is on the take (for the most part) and businesses are closing daily due to poor planning and governmental decisions. Same ole same ole. How about the city over the grade?
