Paso Robles internet predator accused of raping teens

May 25, 2011

A Paso Robles registered sex offender is facing charges he allegedly sexually victimized three San Luis Obispo County girls between the ages of 13 and 17 he contacted through social media sites.

Paso Robles Police are planning to charge Shaun Harrison, 25, with child molestation and statutory rape. He was arrested on April 6 for parole violations and is currently incarcerated in Wasco State Prison.

Following his arrest, police searched Harrison’s computer files and phone records. The investigation led officers to three Paso Robles area teens Harrison had contacted using social media sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Zoosk and Plentyoffish.

Harrison utilized several Internet user names including Shaun Harrison, Shaun Robert and sk8erboy805. And while Harrison did not physically force the teens, children cannot consent to sexual relations with adults.

Investigators are seeking assistance from the public to determine if additional victims exist and to encourage any to come forward. Investigators are requesting that parents review the attached photograph of Shaun Harrison and his vehicle with their children to determine if Harrisons made contact with them.

Those with information can contact the Paso Robles Police Department at 805-237-6464. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 805- 549-STOP or by texting information from your cellular phone to: SLOTIPS (274637).

I honestly have a hard time finding people I know who voted for Parkinson… I saw the signs everywhere, and don’t limit myself to fellow group-thinkers (at least, I don’t think so, since I argue with them often enough).

Funny how that works. Someone must have voted for him…

I met him though some parents from my daughter’s cheer squad. Was very nice, well spoken and claimed to share a lot of my views on “hot” topics. After attending a few events (for him AND other candidates) I voted for Parkinson.

Unfortunately I have to admit I fell for the sweet talkin’ as my husband puts it. I couldn’t be more disapointed.

Nice Audi… when is the police auction?

Didn’t we just have a nice discussion on Social Networking. I said it then, I’ll say it again: it’s a deal with the devil, in the end.

This looks like another boy who is refusing to grow up; why does our society like to keep children teens/twenty-somethings for so long? It’s like we rush to have little girls and boys look like teens, then lock them in there. Just what I’m noticing from ads, movies, media, etc.

Then again, I am a curmudgeon!
