Paso Robles man found on tracks, died from a fall

An autopsy revealed the 59-year-old man found dead on the railroad tracks near 24th Street in Paso Robles Monday died after falling from a bridge.
The Coroner’s Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s determined that James Dahlgren died from blunt force trauma and that he was not hit by a train.
Paso Robles police are continuing to investigate the second incident of a body being discovered on the tracks in the past few years.
In 2010, Bryan Brady, 21, was struck and killed by a northbound Union Pacific freight train while lying unconscious between the rails in downtown Paso Robles. His parents continue to believe their son was murdered.
