Armed robbery at Nipomo market

Two masked men armed with handguns robbed the La Placita Market in Nipomo on Saturday at about 10 p.m.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robbers fled on foot onto Orchard Avenue to a getaway car. San Luis Obispo Sheriff deputies have not yet determine if a third suspect was waiting in the vehicle.

Sheriff investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact the sheriff’s office or crime stoppers.
