Los Angeles priest raped immigrant boys

Confidential letters filed as evidence in a civil case against Father Nicholas Aguilar Rivera reveal that church leaders protected Monsignor Peter Garcia and several other priests who sexually abused boys.

Garcia threatened to have one boy deported if he came forward to law enforcement with sexual abuse allegations. A monsignor documented the case in a letter to an archbishop.

“The priest took him to the jail and instructed him to either behave or else he would end up either in jail of back in Mexico,” the letter reads. “He was supposedly told if you talk, I have lawyer friends and I will surely have you deported.”

Garcia, who died in 2009 without ever facing prosecution, admitted to sexually abusing boys since his ordination in 1966. Letters describing Garcia’s behavior documented incidents, such as the priest tying up a young boy and raping him in Lancaster.

Former Archbishop of Los Angeles Roger Mahoney discussed strategies of shielding Garcia from prosecution in confidential letters. In 1986, Mahoney wrote to a New Mexico treatment center protecting Garcia and treating pedophile Clergy.

“I believe that if Monsignor Garcia were to reappear here within the archdiocese we might very well have some type of legal action filed in both criminal and civil sectors,” Mahoney wrote.

Still, Garcia returned to Los Angeles in 1987 and left the priesthood in 1989 after refusing to take medication to suppress his sexual urges.

How outright correct you are in that true Christians should pray at home!

Why is the TRUE Christian not surprised by yet another example of the hell bound Catholic Church stepping into the proverbial poo again? As we astute Christians know, Catholics are not Christians because their doctrine goes against all accepted Christianity. There’re too many examples that exist to support this absolute.


Because of Catholic Priests buggering small boys, the offering plate continues to be passed to their congregation every Sunday to pay for these misdeeds. The amount that the Catholic Church has paid out thus far in attorney fees and settlements is close to one billion dollars, and counting.


Our ever beloved Jesus enlightened me a while back in prayer relative to the problems that the Catholics are having with their homosexual child molesting priests. He was NOT happy.


He told me that legislation should be enacted immediately within the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to require that all Catholic Churches, with the possibility of pedophile priests within, should be within at least 1000 feet of any school. This godly action will at least give our children a running head start against the molesting priests within!


Think about it, most communities require that the Satanic XXX Adult Book Stores be restricted regarding the distance to our schools; so why not any Catholic Church as well that may house pedophile priests? We must error on the side of caution!


The above scenario gives a whole new meaning to the term “Catholic Rectory”
