Woman assaulted on Cal Poly campus

calpolyCal Poly University Police are searching for a college-aged man who assaulted a woman on campus Monday night. [KSBY]

Officials say a white male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet, grabbed a woman walking on North Perimeter Road near Sequoia Hall and pulled her into bushes at around 8:50 p.m. Monday.

The woman escaped, and told police the man did not say anything to her.

Witnesses last saw the man running from the scene, wearing a grey hoodie.

Over the past few years there have been several attacks that sound an awful lot like this one. Can’t recall an arrest being made in any of them, either.


On CalPoly, there used to be red-paint handprints at every location where a woman was raped. During homecoming, there would be trash cans placed over the painted hands.
