Man missing in ocean off Montaña de Oro

San Luis Obispo Sheriff dive teams plan to resume the search on Friday for a man who went missing in the ocean at Spooner’s Cove in Montaña de Oro State Park on Thursday.
At about 4:45 p.m., witnesses called 911 to report that the man had gone underwater and then had not resurfaced.
Deputies arrived at the scene, but decided to wait until Friday to begin the search because of the waning light and high surf.
