Woman drives car off cliff by Ragged Point

A woman drove her car off a cliff near Ragged Point Saturday evening but came away uninjured. [Tribune]
The car veered off the roadway around 8:15 p.m. Saturday near the Ragged Point Inn. After leaving the roadway, the woman’s car came to a stop at the San Carpoforo Creek about 20 to 30 feet below the cliff.
The woman then climbed out of her car to get help.
California Highway Patrol investigators have yet to release the identity of the woman and are still determining the cause of the car leaving the roadway.
The car remained on the cliff overnight Saturday and Sunday morning until a crew recovered it around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
