Injured man discovered on Pismo Beach railroad tracks

tracksPismo Beach police discovered a severely injured man on the railroad tracks behind Frady Lane on Monday evening.

Shortly before 8 p.m., a caller informed police that a man was laying on the railroad tracks. Because a northbound train was traveling through Pismo Beach, police responded immediately to the scene.

Officers arrived at the scene and discovered the train stopped and Michael Evans, 43, lying beside the tracks with significant injuries to his upper body.

Officers administered first aid until medical personnel arrived at the scene, police said.

Emergency personnel transported Evans to Sierra Vista Medical Center.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.

Does this mean that if no train is due for a while, the police just take their time?


No, it means if no train is due they would finish their donuts first.
