Los Osos woman killed in car crash identified

Officers have identified the woman killed in a car crash on Avila Beach Road Sunday as Denise Snider, of Los Osos. [Tribune]
Snider, 44, drove her pickup truck off the road shortly after midnight Sunday and traveled down an embankment, knocking down a telephone pole and crashing into a tree. Doctors later pronounced her dead at Fresno Community Hospital after transferring her from Sierra Vista Medical Center.
Snider is survived by three daughters, Paili Havard, 7, Sarah Jones, 22, and Amanda Snider, 25. She enjoyed reading, cooking and working on cars.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
