What does Supervisor Adam Hill really think?

Adam Hill

Adam Hill’s opinion of some people in San Luis Obispo County was published today in the New Times and the Santa Maria Sun. It speaks for itself.

Here’s how it starts:

“Not only the superficially educated and narrow-minded, not only bumpkins with bad breath and worse teeth, not only the gullible and aggrieved, not only those who are nostalgic for a past that never was, not only those who are afraid of losing control—the fire-breathers, the weapons-collectors, wearers of bespoke body armor, anonymous online trollers, lovers of Ayn Rand novels for whom the gift of literacy is truly wasted, not only the teacher’s pets from cardio-prayer class, and the self-appointed scolds of free speech and the memorizers of parables about power…”

And the few he left out…

“not only those that sit high throned on the political dais squelching public comment”

“not only those that yield political favor to inflict suffering on the innocent children and the down trodden homeless”

“not only those that use false telephonic communication to socialists, Marxists and communists”

“not only those that shelter the wealthy in lieu of sheltering the poor”

“not only those that seek to suppress freedom of speech and freedom of opinion”

“not only those that stoop so low as to inflict financial hardship on the undeserving”

“not only those that their ideals, principals and thoughts are the ONLY way and all others will be cast asunder”

Oh, and may I add…Thank you District 3. Adam proudly joins the illustrous list of former D3 wingnuts.

Well, to be fair. Adam Hill does have the following:

Horrible breath

Bad teeth

Ominous hair

Rampant paranoia

A panicy liar

And clearly under or over medicated

So he did include himself in this further spiral down the worm hole. A truly remarkable page in the case study in the “suicide” of a politician through hubris. Ian Parkinson, are you watching? Be careful of whom you endorse and more careful of whose behavior you emulate.

Hubris is bliss, and works for a lot of politicians. Just haven’t seen it on BOS before. The board is always split between liberals and conservatives, both with their principled and passionate ideologies, but always civil.

Hey Adam, when you write your endorsement letter to the Governor’s office in support of your Coastal Commission applicant Erik Howell, why don’t you attach a copy of your letter to the editor you submitted to the New Times.

Nice. Forwarding this to Gov. Moonbeams right now to save the bad teeth dude the work.

I’m not sure how many people who have commented so far actually went over to New Times and read the entire piece, (and believe me, I am not trying to defend him) but the theme of the piece is about (in Hill’s opinion) those members of society who “believe” in conspiracy theories. I found two or three of his qualifiers applying to me, but I don’t think of myself as a conspiracy “believer”; I do pause and think a bit when I do hear a theory that has plausibility to it, and even then, my way to look at that conspiracy is that it could be a possibility.

But the bulk of the criticisms leveled here do apply to Mr. Hill’s apparent state of mind; what he is attempting to do (IMO) is to denigrate anyone and everyone who questions anything about anything he has a connection to. Questions about CAPSLO? Conspiracy nuts. Is his finance possibly guilty of misappropriating funds? Conspiracy nuts. See how this works? Anyone and everyone who questions anything about anything he is connected to or with is a conspiracy nut, in his mind, so he gets to write off any possible valid concerns that voters may have. Simple, neat, little package he has given himself as a means of dealing with some of realities ugly little truths that are creeping up around him …

I read Hills letter to the editor and then i read it again. After shaking my, I read it a third time. Though I’m left temporarily speachless, I can still type.

If these ramblings are indeed those of Adam Hill, just think … this man sits on the board of sups and makes important decisions about our communities welfare.

God help us one and all.

I read it twice this morning and was also speechless. I’m still speechless but I am having a good laugh, that is unless he gets re-elected.

Some other poster asked about personality disorders, but left out “megalomania/self-importance”, not to mention a more encompassing “sociopathic” personality disorder diagnosis. I’m not qualified to provide a definitive diagnosis, so I’ll just shake my head and be delighted that this Member of the Board Of Supervisors of the County of San Luis Obispo has written such self-revealing work. This guy is purported to be an EDUCATOR ?

Did anyone see Hill squirreling away a bale from a panga boat?

Haters hate.

This guy IS the canary in the coal mine!
