U.S. Air Force officials are investigating 10 officers – nine lieutenants and one captain – at five bases in the United States and one in England. The investigation began at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

Investigators are focusing on recreational drug use at Malmstrom, Vandenberg, F.E. Warren and Schreiver Air Force bases as well as the Royal Air Force Lakenheath in England, home to a U.S. fighter wing.

Vandenberg, home to our STRATCOM Masters of Space!

And in the spirit of the Space Cadets, we salute you:

Illegal drugs at Vandenberg? Next thing you know, panga boats will start washing up on shore.

What makes you think they are not already, no problem as long as they get their cut. Come on, a long piece of ocean front landing with it’s own police force to protect it, sound perfect.

Ouch … This gives new meaning to the Air Force official motto “Aim High”
