A search of Rio Vista man driving in San Luis Obispo Wednesday produced about 40 grams of heroin and a digital scale, both hidden in the suspect’s groin area.

Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, a San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s K9 deputy stopped a pickup truck traveling on Madonna Road in San Luis Obispo for a traffic violation. The deputy searched the truck, as well as the driver, 29-year-old Jacobcharles Michael Collins of Rio Vista.

The deputy found a knife in the driver’s seat of the truck, as well as the heroin and scale on Collins’ body. The heroin had a street value of about $5,000.

A passenger in the truck had a small amount of heroin in his wallet. The passenger, 32-year-old Jason Michael Gauthier of San Luis Obispo, was on felony probation.

The deputy arrested Collins on charges of possession of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance. Gauthier received a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

WOW ! Junk in the ‘junk’ !

I pity the deputy doing that search.

Perhaps some of the typical anti-Unionistas that post here will step forward and volunteer in order to save tax dollars !

Not that I want to do it but it isn’t that big a deal and well worth what the LEO’s who do it get paid. Hell, TSA people don their rubber gloves and do it numerous times a day in big airports for maybe a third the pay of the law enforcement community.

That’s NOT the question.

Would YOU do it ? For how much ? Min. wage ??? or maybe more ?

You did not have a question to which OtOH replied… you do know that, right? You do understand what a suggestion is (hint: that’s what you actually had in your post)?

it was obviously “packaged” for sale.

Too bad he wasn’t busted up on Johnson Ave…
