May 12, 2014
A driver crashed into a power pole in San Miguel Sunday evening, causing more than 900 customers in the North County community to lose power overnight. [KSBY]
The crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. Sunday on Mission Street near 14th Street. PG&E did not manage to return power to the affected homes until 5:43 a.m. Monday.
No one suffered any injuries in the crash, but one arrest did occur as a result of the collision. CHP did not specify whether or not the arrest was for driving under the influence.
All San Miguel homes currently have had power restored.
