DUI prompted San Miguel power outage

California Highway Patrol officers arrested a Bradley man for driving under the influence Sunday evening after he crashed into a power pole in San Miguel. The collision caused a power outage in San Miguel that lasted until Monday morning. [KSBY]
Juan Manuel Murillo Florez, 24, was driving north on Mission Street near 15th Street when he veered to left and crashed into the power pole. The collision occurred around 9:10 p.m., and PG&E did not fully restore power in the area until 6 a.m. Monday.
Florez did not hit another vehicle, nor did he suffer injuries in the crash.
About 900 customers lost power as a result of the collision.
