Morro Bay police catch graffiti artists

Morro Bay police arrested an 18-year-old and a juvenile accomplice Saturday for creating graffiti.
Around noon, witnesses reported a tagging that just took place in the 200 block of Atascadero Road. Police then located the two suspects with the help of witnesses state parks rangers.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Aaron Peters and his juvenile accomplice and charged them with vandalism.
Morro Bay police encourage residents to report graffiti to the department. It is possible the suspects in this case could have escaped if the public did not assist, a police department press release stated.
