Courtney Moore, a 2003 graduate of Righetti High School, cheered for the Seattle Seahawks while Stefani Swaim, a 2009 graduate of St. Joseph High, led cheers for the New England Patriots. Both practiced their dance skills at the Adkins Dance Center in Orcutt while growing up.
Moore and Swaim participated in several performances together. Swaim even coached Moore at the dance center.
Both Moore and Swaim have degrees from University of California campuses. Moore graduated UCSB with a degree in history, and Swaim has a dance degree from UC Irvine.
Moore has been a member of the Seahawks cheer squad for seven years and has now performed in consecutive Super Bowls. Swaim completed her first year as an NFL cheerleader with her team, the Patriots, winning the Super Bowl.
