Lenny Jones charged with molesting a third child

7456762_GThe San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office filed five additional criminal charges against Lenny Jones after deputies identified a third child who Jones allegedly sexually molested last month.

Jones, Arroyo Grande’s 2014 Citizen of the Year, is accused of kidnapping, penetrating with a foreign object, molesting two girls under 14 years of age and one girl under 10 years of age. The alleged molestations took place while the three girls were attending a birthday party at Jones’ home in March.

The charges include felony oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child under 10 years of age, felony kidnapping for the purpose of child molestation, felony lewd acts with a child under 14 years of age, felony using a minor for sex acts, felony exploitation of a child, felony false imprisonment, misdemeanor annoying or molesting a child and misdemeanor destruction of evidence.

Local sources told CalCoastNews that this is not the first time Jones has been accused of child molestation or flashing a child. More than 20 years ago, Jones and a business associate parted ways after it was suspected Jones had inappropriately touched a child and, sources said.

Lenny Jones was a prominent realtor in the South County. He was Arroyo Grande’s 2014 Citizen of the Year, president of the Woods Humane Society, the president of the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors, past president of the Rotary Club of Arroyo Grande, past board chair of the Arroyo Grande Chamber of Commerce, and was involved in Arroyo Grande in Bloom and the Arroyo Grande Tree Guild.

A few weeks ago, Jones stopped working in his Arroyo Grande real estate office, stepped down from several boards and told friends he was checking into a 30-day rehab center for an addiction, a source said.

Jones is currently incarcerated in the San Luis Obispo County Jail with his bail set at $1.1 million bail.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying any other potential victims in this case by calling the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office at (805) 781-4500.

Stop convicting this man. He is innocent until proven guilty. He hasn’t had his time and court. He may very well be innocent of all these charges. The lunch mob mentality on these forums disgusts me.

This is such a tragic story on so many levels. So far we know three innocent children were victimized and will carry the shame and guilt unless they receive medical help ASAP.

No matter what we say about the perpetrator, he contributed to many groups and causes on the Central Coast. This week he has let down so many people.

It was well known that Lenny was a heavy drinker, but people also knew there was a dark side to him.

I like to think people are innocent, but I don’t think so in this case. He already has a history of this and fits the profile. http://crime.about.com/od/sex/p/pedophile.htm

I am curious as to why was he having his birthday party at his homes with kids. How did manage to do the things that he is being charged with? I don’t mean to blame the parents, Bravo for them believing their kids and taking action!

I hope that the events in the past week opens the door for more discussions with children and parents.

It will be interesting to learn just how many had a feeling things weren’t quite kosher, but turned a blind eye and gave Mr Jones a pass because of who he was.


Sometimes we need to follow our gut instinct, and at least delve a bit deeper. If something doesn’t seem quite right, maybe its because something IS wrong!

It’s sad that the incrimination is mounting against Mr. Lenny Jones, but we Christians are to morally forgive him nonetheless of his child molestation, if he is found guilty, as stated in other threads by myself and other Christians here on CCN relative to this story.


If Lenny is found guilty, then the way I see it biblically, is that if Mr. Jones can cut off his wankie that has caused him to sin, then at least he will not be going to Hell, but instead, to our glorious Heaven as our Hebrew Christian God’s inspired words so state. Besides, Lenny doesn’t need his male anatomy in Heaven because there is no sexual activity, nor is there any marriage. (Matthew 22:30)

Mr. Lenny Jones has a choice, either cut it off, or burn in un-quenchable fire for eternity! Seems like an easy choice to me.

It’s sad to think that you think religion will save some one like this. 3 young girls have came out and accused him of something ungodly.If you don’t believe the charges you are calling these girls lyers. Sad thing is he’ll go to another weak P.C. prison and hang out with other child molesters. People keep it real and call it as you see it. There is alot of people that our bad and it’s up to the good people to fight back. Hope this guy rots in hell.

I assume you still live in the United States of America? Tell me, have you heard of the term “innocent until proven guilty?” The key word here is “proven.”


Furthermore, I don’t think that true Christianity will save Mr. Lenny Jones, I know as a fact that it will save and forgive him so that he too will be able to go to Heaven. Who is any Christian to usurp our God’s inspired word as shown in the passages given in this thread and others relating to Christianities “Forgiveness Doctrine?”


Using your terminology, Christians will keep it real as our God sees it!

There is nothing Christian like doing Unspeakable things to children, This just the reason,they are building such a strong Case, the DA & Police.. Bail is 1.1 mil .


I think all Bible really does not Address , Sins like this against Children .. I just saw from things that happened in Mr Jones past & this .. stuff, My guess is he is Pretty much guilty, He needs to spend the rest of his days in Jail ,and yes God will Judge him,not me ..

Yes, people need to be concerned for the victims and their families. They will all need to heal. Most Pedophiles have been victims themselves. I don’t care what religion someone is, one day Lenny will get what is right.

“People know me”…maybe a little better now. The part about his “leisure pursuits” and “bundling his services” and this article is just from this January.


As much as I would hope the accusations against him aren’t true for the sake of the kids involved, I will say that my heart goes out to them and their parents. No child should ever have to experience anything so terrible. I hope if Mr. Jones is guilty, they lock him up, throw away the key and make him explain to his new roommates how he came to be there.
