Armed robbery at the Monarch Grove Winery

Grover Beach police are looking for a man suspected of the Sunday afternoon armed robbery of the Monarch Grove Winery Tasting Room on Highway 1 near the Amtrak station.
At about noon, a man wearing an old man mask, an Elvis wig and blue latex gloves entered the tasting room armed with a black semi-automatic pistol. The suspect then bound an employee’s wrists with duct tape and told the victim to remain inside a restroom at the winery.
The suspect then stole about $400 in cash.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30 to 40-years-old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing tan cargo pants and a blue buttoned long sleeve shirt.
