Paso Robles has spike in burglaries

There has a been a noticeable increase in residential burglaries in Paso Robles over the last two weeks, according to the city’s police department.
The burglaries have occurred on the east side of Paso Robles during daytime hours. Suspects have been breaking into homes by way of unlocked rear windows or sliding glass doors, a police department press release states.
Police have not announced any arrests. The police department’s detective bureau and special enforcement team are investigating the burglaries.
Investigators request that anyone with information about the burglaries contact the police department at (805) 237-6464. Paso Robles police are also reminding residents to lock all doors and windows while away and to report suspicious people or vehicles.
