Person killed in SLO Christmas Eve crash

One person died in a Christmas Eve crash on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. [KSBY]
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the highway near Los Osos Valley Road. It was reported around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
No details have emerged about the cause of the crash. Authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim.
Following the collision, officers re-routed traffic, directing southbound drivers to exit at Los Osos Valley Road.
