San Bernardino massacre was an act of terrorism

The FBI announced Friday evening that it has determined the shooting in San Bernardino that killed 14 people and wounded 21 others on Wednesday was an act of terrorism.

Shortly after Tashfeen Malik and her husband Syed Farook opened fire on a holiday party, Malik posted a pledge of allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Facebook. Malik was born in Pakistan and then moved to Saudi Arabia when she was about four years old.

Farook was born in the United States. He met Malik during a trip to Saudi Arabia in 2013. It is currently unknown how the couple became radicalized.

Following are comments by David Bowdich”

“My name is David Bowdich with the FBI.

“I’d like for all of us to remember that the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as the community of San Bernardino, will be dealing with the aftermath of this long after our investigation is over.

“ ‘Heroism’ — First responders.

“Given the facts as we know them today, the Joint Terrorism Task Force is now investigating the December 2 shooting in San Bernardino as an act of terrorism.  We have taken a leadership role at the federal level with the resources of the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

“The FBI; the San Bernardino Police Department; the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department; the ATF, and many other partners, will continue to work collaboratively as we gather facts.”

Muslims want the world to be muslim, always have and always will. Radical muslims will kill to make this happen.

Let’s not generalize, Cal Poly has some excellent courses on religion. Then a real discussion can occur so you can “know your enemy”. You will find out most Muslims are as upset with what happen as any other religious group.

Actually a world religion class from a California State Univ doesn’t impress me. I went to Franciscan Univ in Ohio (religious studies) a few yrs back.


Book smart does not make smart sense. Now go to the middle east and chat with their Imams about all the good religious education you think you understand from Cal Poly.

I am beginning to believe that it was, in fact, the papacy that created islam in the first place (to acquire the Holy Land and deal with the orthodox/non-RomanCatholic Christians)… and now that the “inner circle” of each knows the dirty little secret, it’s a double-blackmail situation. She looks like Joe Peschi on a bad day. If she had kept her nose clean a little longer Obama might have given her a cabinet position. She should have surrendered instead of shooting it out. Obama would have cited her for workplace violence and pay a big fine.
