Man’s body found in Atascadero

Atascadero police found the body of a 37-year-old man near Highway 101 and the pedestrian tunnel on Saturday.
Police have deemed the death suspicious. An investigation is ongoing.
The San Luis Obispo County Coroner took the body to the morgue for an autopsy.
Police are not releasing the identity of the deceased man or further information at this time.
The pedestrian tunnel runs under Highway 101 across from Sunken Gardens Park.
