What am I missing? A man robs another with a deadly weapon. He causes significant enough injuries that the victim is admitted to hospital. Bail is then set at $60,000? That seems totally too low for a violent crime. I believe they can make bail with 10%?

Don’t say $6,000 is a lot. It is not, if the criminal could end up on the street before his robbery victim is even released from the hospital.
