The jury convicted William Martinez Perez, 59, of six felony counts of committing a lewd act on a child under the age of 14. Perez was also convicted of an enhancement for abusing multiple victims under the age of 14.

Perez abused three children between 2001 and 2005 and between 2011 and 2016, according to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office.

In 2017, Perez was arrested on a host of child molestation charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of two girls between 2011 and 2016. Investigators alleged Perez had sexual intercourse or sodomy with a victim under 10 years old.

Perez’s trial spanned about one week. The jury convicted him after a half day of deliberations.

On Thursday, San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow released a statement praising the victims in the case.

“Sexual abuse of children are some of the most complex, sensitive and tragic cases handled by our office. It takes an immense amount of courage for these young victims to come forward and report the abuse,” Dow said.

Perez’s sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 20 in the courtroom of Judge Jacquelyn Duffy.

“facing the possibility of life in prison.”

More often than not, Child predators don’t live very long behind bars. They have their own rules in prison.

Looking at the photo of this evil, poor excuse of a human being makes me sick to my stomach.

Hope he gets what he deserves every day for the rest of his life while locked away in prison..

I agree he’s a monster and prison is where he belongs. But how is it right to allow other felons to rape him & Etc. Are we telling the other jail birds its ok to rape?
