Rent former San Luis Obispo mayor’s home, dresses included

Former San Luis Obispo Mayor Heidi Harmon is renting out her fully furnished and decorated home which includes some of her iconic outfits hanging on walls.

Offered as a month to month lease, the home is located in the downtown area. The home “features a one-bedroom, one-bath unit, and a charming glamping tent in the backyard.”

First elected to office in 2016, amid allegations she took gifts from a marijuana businessman, Harmon announced she was stepping down to battle climate change in Aug. 2021.

The former mayor’s attachment to red roses and eclectic style is on display throughout the house.

I just want to rent it to take down all of the over the top wall hangings and put up a plaque that states “Trump Is Mighty”.

Looks like the abode of a seriously unhinged individual. For the sake of the tenants I hope it’s not contagious!

“Unhinged” is an understatement, lol. In this neighborhood she has been seen stealing American flags that other neighbors have in front of their homes.

I think her home is beautiful. I would totally rent it, and she has good taste in clothes. You can’t blame her for situations with SLO county. A lot of it is bureaucracy that is associated with people set in their old ways, which is keeping a lot of professionals out. These comments below are kind of disturbing. When someone dedicates time to public service, they shouldn’t be bullied by people who are honestly probably just pissed they couldn’t fit into her dresses.

When you play in the same sandbox with Helios Dayspring, and the people who religiously supported Adam Hill, it makes the comments….spot on.


“Dedicates time”? She bailed out. Ran away. Threw a tizzy fit. And in the end, told the SLO citizens that they weren’t worth her time! Yes, we absolutely blame her for every black mark situation that befell us.

I would absolutely love it if someone rented it and then and didn’t pay rent for six months, fully taking advantage of California’s liberal squatting policies.

Why stop at 6 months?, I’ve heard it can take over a year to evict someone legally.

Yes! But then you’d have to live in it for 6 months.Even with free rent I don’t think I could take it.
