SLO County Clerk Recorder Elaina Cano

By KAREN VELIE

The San Luis Obispo County election’s office is second in the state on Tuesday morning in uncounted ballots with 3,965 still to count, according to the California Secretary of State’s Office. There are currently 27,101 uncounted ballots in the state.

With 1,416,752 processed ballots, Orange County leads with 11,565 uncounted ballots. SLO County processed 150,106 ballots in the November election.

Santa Barbara County processed 187,836. Its election office has 18 uncounted ballots.

At the end of the 2022 ballot count, SLO County was the second slowest in the state.

California county elections officials have 30 days to count every valid ballot and conduct a required post-election audit. State law requires elections officials to report final official results for presidential electors to the Secretary of State by Dec. 3, and all other contests by Dec. 6.

Slowest or most meticulous…to make certain we get it right?!? I opt for the latter.

Flipping close races is the goal in California. This slow counting process allows for enough wiggle room to call some races for Dems. A California congressional seat held by a Republican was flipped in this latest fiasco. Perhaps it’s time to eliminate California votes in Federal results. It’s that bad.

Perhaps it’s time to eliminate California votes”

What bullshit, did not go your way? Take away the right to vote?

No.

Is it bullshit to insist on accuracy and speed in counting ballots in that case? Why did Newsom outlaw ID’s to vote? Yes, California results should be withheld until the rest of America is assured that only American citizens are properly registered to vote in Federal elections.

“That’s one for you, and one for me. That’s two for you and one, two for me…”

What an embarrassment! Not only did our County Clerk gets the award for the second slowest vote count in the State and with California getting the top negative award for the slowest count in the entire nation, neither of them can be proud of being dead last in counting the votes of our citizens. Shame, shame, shame…

The FINAL count was released today December 3 per state law.

The book ‘How to Lie With Statistics’ by Darrell Huff should be required reading in public schools.

I think we all know what’s going on here…

Still figuring out which races can be rigged. Why can’t we just count all the ballots in an open process?

Why do you care? You don’t vote anymore. “I stopped voting. ”

So not voting but still wants to complain about how the voting went.

Lol

I can complain about why my vote would not count without voting. In any close race it will be Tom Fulks and Bruce Gibson instructing Elaina on what to do and how to do it, not my vote, not your vote. This time is was secret counting of newly found “missing” ballots 2 weeks after the election.

I try to be a defender of those who work for us; however this woman needs to find a job that she can handle. Her performance is miserable. Since she cannot handle the job, at the very least she should hire a Chief Deputy with election experience who can change the sorry experience we currently have.
