Brave new Trump world coming soon

Dell Franklin walking his dog on the beach

Editor’s Note: The following series, “Life in Radically Gentrifying Cayucos by the Sea,” to be posted biweekly includes the notes, thoughts, and opinions of an original American voice: author Dell Franklin.

Franklin’s memoir, “The ballplayer’s Son” and “Life on The Mississippi, 1969” are currently on Amazon.

I see it now: Billboards and neon signs on every block in every city, as well as on highways and country roads and along railroad tracks, bordering farms and ranches and factories and food processing plants and mills of various sorts, all advertising Trump goods beneath gigantic photos of the orange master of and messiah to all, hawking whatever you need and don’t need, but especially himself, hovering like a gargantuan blimp taking up half the sky and drawing a shadow over the land so that only Donald Trump glitters beneath the pall.

By this time, of course, Trump will be the richest man in the world and Musk and various billionaire oligarchs will hover timidly near his throne or be in jail or behind fences teeming with wild, vicious animals or gulags if not marginalized for whatever reasons.

Look out, Zuckerburg! Thiel! Bezos! Etc!

Members of congress, no matter their party, will be required to wear blue blazers and red ties. When they golf at one of the king’s new courses, they will swing Trump golf clubs and hit Trump golf balls and wear tasseled Trump golf shoes, sweaters, windbreakers, slacks, caps, socks, sunglasses and stick pins; and use Trump tees, score cards, pencils, pens, gloves, carts, etc, etc.

Afterwards, in the plush country club, they will drink Trump liquor, beer and wine and eat Trump steaks or the triple-decker bacon and cheese Trump burgers only, because if you wanna golf at one of his clubs you better by God be a meat-eating killer and not some chicken liver vegan pussy!

Supreme Court members will be sworn in on Trump bibles and adhere to Trump’s amendments to the Constitution now that he has over 60% advantage in the senate and judges throughout the land, his media-wave of race baiting and smug cruelty taking over every voting district in the country except California, which is seceding and on the verge of war with America.

Weekly rallies will be held in massive, cavernous, echoing venues, the messiah bleating of taking over this land and that, the salivating devotees, slathered in Trump regalia, spewing joyous martyred vengeance upon the enemy (woke libs, DEI, Europe, non-whites…) while scarfing Trump chips and candy, gnawing on Trump beef jerky, and guzzling Trump power drinks guaranteed to produce the most dynamic and titillating and overpowering energy known to mankind.

The ubiquitous, hovering signs will sell specific products manufactured specifically for the kind of men’s men who idolize Donald J. Trump: Penis enhancers that allow little wiggly-wagglers to grow several inches until they reach the same size of the great Trump golf hero Arnold Palmer’s famous appendage; a new strain of Trump Viagra that will make this enhanced appendage so spectacular it will turn timid virgins into sexual slaves (guaranteed by DJT himself); authentic natural blond hair (it’s a secret where it comes from) guaranteed to form on your bald scalp and puff up in place with a secret potion like the messiah’s.

The monarch himself will be ensconced permanently in America’s new official headquarters and capitol replacing the stodgy White House–the Mar-a-Lago golden-domed Taj Mahal–where DJT, in his late 80s, roosts upon an elevated throne, now weighing in at 330 pounds, occasionally raising his oozing bulk and growling, “Eat, eat, eat!”

Then, appearing increasingly wroth: “Goddammit, eat you scrawny mothers, eat my fucking food!”

Whereupon Don Jr., Eric and Baron flip special Trump skinny burgers to the scrambling mob.

For those who cannot get enough of Trump–although not a minute of your life will not be suffocated by him–there’s the mecca and gold-plated statue of Donald Trump now looming over the Lincoln Memorial–heavily guarded by armed members of Trump’s private vigilante army of ex-cons and white supremacists that once stampeded the capitol–where worshipers can flock in great hordes, kneeling before the replica of the great man, heads thrown back, arms lifted toward the heavens, chanting his name in the Trump trance, while the one remaining news outlet in America, Trump Truth, heralds the greatness of the great man throughout the country and the globe.

Meanwhile, newspapers and magazines and books will become nearly extinct.

The entertainment business will feature only white-themed Christian fare where the good guys win and hold court as saccharine music serenades in the background. Colleges and law firms will be reduced to beggars. Most of the addicts, beggars, the poor, and immigrants will be vanquished by various pandemics, leaving just enough of them to do the dirty work and keep the country fed.

The military and secret service and ICE thugs and police will walk the streets and keep us safe. Citizens will distrust almost everybody as spies as they tread warily, while any sign of protest will face live ammunition to quell and kill–a decree put forth by the messiah.

Ahh, welcome to brave new Trump world, America the beautiful, home of the brave.

This burnt out hippie named Dell, has most assuredly “jumped the shark.”

This American Patriot of Hispanic descent, surname and dark skin to match, beyond ecstatic to have a real economy rolling again (not MSM pimping cooked numbers), the Rule of Law being followed at every turn (as affirmed by the SCOTUS, the 3rd branch of OUR government), as well as OUR taxpayer funded infrastructure starting to be properly sized again for REAL AMERICAN use.

Additionally, all of you hippie boomers should be down on your knees thanking 47’s administration for putting you, an actual American, back in the front of the line. Where WE belong.

Not to mention, when your 2025 tax return comes back with more money for your pocket due to the NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY for retired seniors. All of you TDS riddled better remember that DJT campaigned on that promise and delivered for REAL AMERICANS from sea to shining sea.

We’re only 6+ months into this admin and the sun is shining for all of us, even if you hippies choose to wear your face diapers over your eyes.

P.s

In regards to the attached lede photo, put a leash on that other dog because if I’m required to do it, so are you. No ONE is above the law! No ONE!

I dare you to say that DJT doesn’t, when in fact he’s been right about everything in regards to executive privilege as the SCOTUS continues to prove in the end after the sickening (taxpayer funds wasting) lawfare by the losing DemoNcrat party.

#ENDTheDemoNcratParty (that have always been THE TRAITORS amongst us)

Freedom is back (under the Rule of Law) and WE THE PEOPLE in vast majority are loving every minute of it.

This is quite the imaginative rant — more dystopian satire than grounded political critique. I understand that many people have strong feelings about Donald Trump, but this kind of exaggerated fearmongering doesn’t reflect the reality of why millions of Americans support him.

Most conservatives I know aren’t looking for a king or a messiah. They’re hardworking people who care about border security, economic stability, personal freedom, and a government that listens instead of lectures. Reducing them to caricatures wearing Trump-branded everything while worshiping golden statues isn’t just misleading — it’s insulting and unproductive.

If we’re going to have real conversations about the direction of this country, let’s start by dropping the hyperbole and engaging honestly. You don’t have to agree with us, but mocking and exaggerating won’t change hearts or minds.

Let’s see if CalCoastNews will remove this one too.

What you’ve written reads like a piece of political satire or dystopian fiction, but it’s framed in such extreme, hyperbolic terms that it veers far from any sober or realistic critique. It’s the kind of writing meant more to provoke outrage or mock than to foster dialogue. And that’s a shame—because there are serious conversations to be had about Trump, his policies, and his influence on American politics.

Let’s break this down.

1. Personality Cult Fears

It’s true that some conservatives have developed an emotional attachment to Trump that goes beyond policy. That’s concerning to many of us who believe in principles over personalities. But equating support for Trump with blind messianic worship or North Korea-style glorification is an exaggeration. Most Trump voters I know support him because they believe he’s a fighter against a bloated bureaucracy, globalist economic priorities, or progressive overreach—not because they want gold-plated statues or to rename the Constitution after him.

2. Media and Consumer Culture

We live in a country where everyone is a brand—from Taylor Swift to Elon Musk to Obama. Trump’s branding obsession is cringeworthy to many on the right too, but it’s hardly unique. Do I think Trump steaks and gold shoes are necessary for national success? Of course not. But neither do the vast majority of his voters. Most of us don’t want politics wrapped in celebrity culture—whether it’s MAGA rallies or Oprah-endorsed candidates.

3. Democratic Institutions

This idea that Trump would singlehandedly rewrite the Constitution, turn the Supreme Court into a personal fan club, and create an authoritarian theocracy is not based on any legal reality. Our system—thankfully—is full of checks and balances. Even during Trump’s presidency, many of his more controversial initiatives were blocked by courts, Congress, or simply failed politically. You don’t have to like the man to admit that fears of full-blown fascism are overblown.

4. Cultural Elitism

Much of what’s written here drips with disdain for rural Americans, religious conservatives, and working-class voters. That’s part of the problem. When you paint Trump voters as backward, bloodthirsty, ignorant zealots, you alienate the very people you claim to want to “save” from him. Many conservatives support Trump not because they think he’s perfect, but because they feel culturally mocked and economically ignored by the coastal elite. Writing like this reinforces that perception.

5. Let’s Talk About Policy

If you want to critique Trump responsibly, talk about his trade policies, his foreign alliances, his stance on entitlements, his approach to immigration enforcement, or how he handled the COVID response. Don’t get lost in cartoonish apocalypse fantasies. Focus on the real.

Final Thought:

If we want to have a productive conversation in this country, both sides need to tone down the drama. Conservatives aren’t stormtroopers, and liberals aren’t Marxist saboteurs. There’s still room for nuance, for compromise, and for talking to one another like fellow citizens instead of caricatures.

You may not like Trump, and that’s your right. But if the goal is to convince others, satire that mocks and exaggerates everything about him and his supporters isn’t going to win hearts—it’s just going to harden divisions.

It’s a strange world we live in, but of course, the origins of this situation can be analyzed, if, albeit with a meager information set, to derive some answers…

Departing from a pier in the duty van for parts procurement on 32nd Street in San Diego, while our ship was having a generator repaired, a very attractive young woman who stood on a perceived sociological rung much higher than mine, inquired as to whether her team could take some video in support of the Bob Dole campaign circa 1995.

This fellow, a young man at the time, and not oblivious to the intent of a political party to use this young lady, on what was, formerly, a male dominant military installation in an effort to elect a political candidate, noted this and arrived at the conclusion that as a registered Republican, this “party” did not care too much for us, and likely, neither did the other one…

That same year (1995), while visiting Hong Kong, met a young American family whose breadwinners endeavored in the construction of a semiconductor manufacturing facility to feed the world’s growing need for the internet, likely a drop in the “locality bucket” given the significant number of Anglo individuals observed on a China Airlines aircraft in 2017 at the Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Or how about the early 2000’s? Where, on high frequency radio, one could listen to various members of a “church” in Latin America calling headquarters? Looks like selling “Jesus” worked out in that part of the world, given our current situation. The ones in the Middle East found out the hard way, that “Selling ice to Eskimos” is not necessarily an activity worth pursuing.

Observing the structure of various 501(c)(3) organizations, it would be easy enough to derive that there is a remarkable similarity between many and seemingly mixed entities, such as IBM, Northrup Grumman, Baptists, General Dynamics, Catholic Church, ad infinitum. Irrespective of whether that business, which pertains primarily to a “ruleset”, is engaged in financial or sociological efforts, the production of novelty and surplus appear to be the prevailing paradigm.

In this case, it might even be “worlds”, as a function of sociologically bound systems.

The “painted picture” of this editorial appears geared towards producing the idea that a “few” are engaged in leisure while the rest of us toil. A common theme in history, whether that be in 1935 Germany or the rise of communism in the former Soviet Union. I’ve read “Mein Kampf”, and distinctly recall a section where Hitler referred to those in power as, “Lounge Lizards”. This editorial feels notably similar.

The issue with this “picture” is that we do not know if it is necessarily true.

Pulling back from our “War on Terror”, to bring them home, remarkable sacrifices were made on the part of the American people. Notwithstanding what we brought with us as we made our exit from the Middle East and Central Asia, the promotion of a narrative is hardly surprising, nor the amount of currency dispensed. Of course, a group of folks right here who were all to happy to see us go in an effort to capitalize on a power vacuum, now find themselves “licking their wounds” as well.

I can remember a fellow whom I served with, informing me that “nothing ever dies, it just becomes something else”, such as the “Roman Empire” becoming the “Holy Catholic Church”, for example.

Following the draw down in our military efforts overseas, as “nurses and “truck drivers” became the new “heroes”, and America was weaned off the belief, that somehow, the military was going to save them from whatever “Boogeyman” was being sold at the time (quite likely the real one was in our own backyard), one wonders where the “Military Industrial-Complex” is now. I pondered how smart that fellow was as the idea that the “Military Industrial-Complex” might be much closer than we could imagine was considered.

One becomes one what one hates, typically, and jealousy hardly yields any sort of happiness, nor results which are concordant with personal traits or needs.

The pursuit of a “false” image has led us to where we are now, do we need another one? Looks like “America”, at least the one that existed, became a victim of it’s own success, and many of us left behind, who yearn for a world that no longer exists, must contend with a new reality. They say birds are the relatives of dinosaurs, ironically I see a similar pattern in human evolution as of late, and “swarm theory” appears to prevail, this was a “Battle for the Mind”, I found myself terrified of who might have won…

Unhinged a bit… turn off the MSM and come to your senses….

When you stop watching/believing Fox News…..

Ask yourselves, “who has been getting meaningful things done?” It sure wasn’t Joe Biden and his band of merry men and ladies. Open your eyes Dell…

Hahaha…..what “meaningful” things has Trump accomplished. Do enlighten us!!

He sounds like the teacher from “Charlie Brown and the peanuts” WA WAHWAHWAH WAH WAH WAH

Reads like erotic fan fiction from a fever dream. I do appreciate the picture of an empty beach as we can reclaim our public spaces from the tens of millions of illegal aliens

This series, like Scrubs and Two and a Half Men, has gone on far too long.
