Paso Robles students walk out to protest ICE, face discipline

A group of approximately 100 Lewis Flamson Junior High School students, who walked out of school and through Paso Robles on Monday, are facing disciplinary actions, according to a district official.

On Monday morning, school officials learned more than 150 students were planning a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) protest. Administrators told the students they could protest on campus, but were not to leave the school.

Shortly before noon, students were overheard saying they can’t stop all of us before rushing the blocked exits and pushing school staff aside, according to a district official. A group of students then walked down Spring Street cursing at and flipping off community members, walking in front of cars and throwing bottles and trash.

The students then turned onto Niblick Road and walked towards Walmart where some of the students threw water bottles at customers attempting to enter the store.

The Paso Robles Police Department dispatched multiple officers to the shopping center causing some of the students to flee and others to continue the protest closer to Niblick Road.

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District officials are planning to discipline the students through either detentions or suspensions.

One can almost lay money down that this actually started from an instructor in the social sciences or humanities department that put this dumb idea into their heads. That idea may cause these immature “students” to lose out on a military or federal career. The teacher of course doesn’t care. He or she gets to have a chuckle and a high five in the teacher’s lounge and spew out anti American nonsense online behind an anonymous handle. Parents. If you can (work two jobs if needed), get your kids into private school, and when they are ready, choose college or vocational school carefully.

Another example of our public education system at work! Rather than teaching young students about civics and how are Government and system of law works let’s get them all worked up with emotion. Hey teachers why don’t you begin a project to create legislation to change immigration laws! Then take those ideas to your local congressman Jimmy Panetta and ask him to present that to the congress and get it passed and have our “Fantastic” president sign it. The reason they won’t do that is because it’s easier to use emotion rather than reality as they continue brainwashing our kids with their ideological propaganda!

Get your kids and grandkids out of these propaganda mills so they can actually learn to think critically about the subjects at hand. I realize this is a stretch especially these days but people may want to consider this and as our Great President says “ thank you for your attention to this matter “!

A great example of why the Ds want to lower the voting age.

The parents should be held accountable and the students should be given community service.

The parents weren’t there, school officials were.

Parents should be aware of what their children are hearing, watching and learning. Social media is great at making agitators of children. Teachers are responsible also, but having worked for the school system in Paso Robles, I’ve seen the decline in parental guidance over the last several years.

Why are teachers today so anti American sovereignty?… what happens to them in our universities?… every nation on earth reserves the right to know who is coming into their country and why…. and if you overstay you are booted from their country and could even serve time…

Teach our children well people or find a new occupation….

Ms. Loftus will most likely just sweep this incident under the rug just like the rest of the shenanigans being pulled under her watch.

Dear Sons and Daughters of the failed state of Mexico,

Beggars can’t be choosy.

Or equally stated another way…Dear Citizens who are the Sons and Daughters of….

Michael A. I take solacee in knowing that in a few short years these students will be voting, legally, while you will still be posting things like this.

Blessed are the ignorant or is it ignorance is bliss…i can’t remember.

Yes, brilliant Yan, make America as dysfunctional and corrupt as Mexico. We know that’s the plan and why not-so-smart people advocate for that.

Still doesn’t make my assessment invalid.

You side will lose the war of attrition.

Sorry if that makes you sad.

Well maybe this is a teachable moment, “decisions come with consequences.”

Exactly how many illegal alien Junior High students have been deported from Paso? Curious minds want to know, what the teachers have been drumming into these kids.

Maybe our right to peacefully protest the creepy actions of this government?

Your parents did a horrible job raising you if you think children unable to vote, join the military and all of the other stuff have a right to ignore their elders in charge of them on school property and leave to cause chaos.

You have a strange interpretation of “peaceful”.

Pushing school officials, walking in the street, throwing trash and bottles at cars, terrorizing Walmart shoppers.

In no place on earth, can that be considered “peaceful”.

What part of peace full did I miss, the article says throwing water bottles.

The Rule of Law is clearly not in your wheelhouse. Go figure!
