Man jacks car and attempts to rape teen

knife crimeSanta Maria police are looking for a man who stole a car and then attempted to rape a 16-year-old girl early Saturday morning.

Shortly before 7 a.m., the teen was waiting in a car while a relative dropped several children off at a daycare center on Hermosa Street. Armed with a knife, the suspect then forced the girl to drive to an undisclosed location.

The suspect then attempted to rape her inside the car. Afterwards, the man forced the teen to drive him to another location where he got out of the car and walked away.

Police were unable to locate the man. An investigation is ongoing.

Are you kidding me indigo1955? Since when does blaming the victim help anything? Not only that but if she was scared and driving it might be a little hard to concentrate on being a good witness. Furthermore, just because this particular article didn’t mention a description doesn’t mean she didn’t give one.

I personally don’t care how she avoided being raped, I’m just glad she was able to.

Nobody is blaming the victim-you just threw that in there. If they were actively looking for a suspect in a crime this serious—they would have put everything on the newswire they could. This would include hypnosis to get a description-if they needed to, because a lone man who goes around abducting minor children with a knife-and then hijacks their car to rape them–would be a huge danger to the public at large–and they would do everything in their power to get this info out there. (Lest they end up being liable if it happens again).


Just trust me-there is something up with this story. Hang in there, you will see. I am pretty good with psychology; it is what I do for a living.

This story is highly fragmented in ways that make me believe there is something more to this. Why is there no description of the man-at all? After all, it was daylight (7am) and she certainly had a chance to note details when he walked away. How was the attempted rape avoided (does he have visible scratches-did they take DNA from underneath her nails?)


Sounds fabricated.
