Be sure to vote today!
June 22, 2010
You have until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 22nd, to cast your ballot and make your voices heard in the special state Senate District 15 election.
Four candidates seek your vote: Republican Sam Blakeslee of San Luis Obispo, Democrat John Laird from Santa Cruz, Independent Jim Fitzgerald from Nipomo, and Libertarian Mark Hinkle from Morgan Hill.
If no candidate attains 50 percent, plus one, of the votes today, the top two will advance to a runoff on Aug. 17.
Voters with a mail-in ballot can drop them off in person at the County Clerk-Recorder’s Office or your nearest polling place today. Ballots not received today in the mail will not be included in the final vote.
