Our dumb criminal of the week award goes to a man who turned himself in for an outstanding warrant with a body in the trunk of his car in suburban Denver. [KRDO]
Robert L. Johnson, 40, went to jail on Saturday to surrender on an unspecified warrant with what deputies thought was an explosive device inside the vehicle. Arapahoe County Sheriff’s deputies evacuated nearby buildings and called out the bomb squad.
The bomb squad determined there were no explosives in the car, there was however, a body in the trunk.
