Head-on collision: Drunk driver going the wrong way on Higuera

An alleged drunk driver going the wrong way on Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo crashed head-on into another vehicle injuring two men Saturday night at about 2 a.m.
Police say 24-year-old Melissa Hernandez of Grover Beach was driving a Saturn Astra the wrong way when she struck a Ford Expedition near West End Espresso and Tea.
Both the driver of the Expedition, Tony Davis, 35, of Paso Robles and his passenger, Sone Ross Jr., 35, of San Miguel suffered minor injuries due to the impact and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Hernandez was arrested for felony drunk driving causing an injury and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
