Paso Robles internet predator accused of raping teens
May 25, 2011
A Paso Robles registered sex offender is facing charges he allegedly sexually victimized three San Luis Obispo County girls between the ages of 13 and 17 he contacted through social media sites.
Paso Robles Police are planning to charge Shaun Harrison, 25, with child molestation and statutory rape. He was arrested on April 6 for parole violations and is currently incarcerated in Wasco State Prison.
Following his arrest, police searched Harrison’s computer files and phone records. The investigation led officers to three Paso Robles area teens Harrison had contacted using social media sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Zoosk and Plentyoffish.
Harrison utilized several Internet user names including Shaun Harrison, Shaun Robert and sk8erboy805. And while Harrison did not physically force the teens, children cannot consent to sexual relations with adults.
Investigators are seeking assistance from the public to determine if additional victims exist and to encourage any to come forward. Investigators are requesting that parents review the attached photograph of Shaun Harrison and his vehicle with their children to determine if Harrisons made contact with them.
