The 13-year-old driver, along with a 51-year-old passenger, initially fled the deputies around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Mission Drive and Alamo Pintado Road in Solvang. The young teen then reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour driving on Highway 246, where he eventually lost control and crashed into a farm.

Both the driver and the passenger sustained minor injuries.

Deputies found stolen property in the vehicle from the Morro Bay area, in addition to determining that the two suspects had stolen the car. Officers arrested the teen and booked him in juvenile hall on several felony charges.

Law enforcement had yet to determine the relationship between the 13-year-old driver and the 51-year-old passenger.

Reads like Sonnie and Clyde or Cougar Klepto-Pedophile NASCAR Team?

I like the “…and crashed into a farm” part.

13 years old, WOW. Ask this kid how many times he has played GRAND THEFT AUTO video game !

13 years old? 51 years old? Reads like a film script.

Sure does. Can’t wait to see the film. It’s not “Sideways” but how about Headlong? 13-Speed? Wanna-Be Young and Younger?
