Mo’s Smokehouse BBQ cook injured in explosion

An explosion Wednesday at Mo’s Smokehouse BBQ restaurant on Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo left a cook with serious injuries. [KSBY]
At about 6 p.m., a commercial pressure cooker exploded, blowing a hole in the roof of the kitchen and injuring the employee. Investigators are looking into the cause of the explosion.
Emergency personnel transported the cook to a local hospital.
The restaurant was closed for the rest of the evening.
