Man wanted in Atascadero armed robbery

7-112Police are searching for a man after an armed robbery of a 7-11 store in Atascadero early Sunday morning.

Authorities said a masked man sporting what appeared to be tan-Nike sneakers and latex gloves pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money using an English accent. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 5-foot-9-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, and weighing about 210 pounds.

If I was the Detective I would go back on the day of that surveillance tape, 99% sure that cat was in there casing the place prior to the robbery. JMO and I bet he would just be dumb enough to come back in later to check it out. Most Criminals usually make pretty dumb decisions like that ya know.
