A burnt out air blower caused smoke that set off the fire alarms, according to the San Luis Obispo Fire Department.

Firefighters arrived at the courthouse around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday and evacuated the building.

Responders fixed the air blower’s motor, and courthouse occupants returned to the building around 11:40 a.m.
