Man killed in Cayucos collision identified

The man who was found dead in a car he crashed into a Cayucos home last weekend has been identified as former Morro Bay realtor John Detomaso.
Detomso, 79, from Cayucos crashed into the home on Hacienda Drive, east of Studio Drive. There was no one in the residence at the time of the accident.
Officials said the damage to the car did not warrant a fatal injury. An investigation is ongoing.
